Acceptable use policy
What the service may and may not be used for, and what happens when that line is crossed.
Who this applies to
Everyone who uses gobazo, operated by CONSENKO STUDIOS PRIVATE LIMITED — the business that subscribes, every user it creates, and anyone using its API keys or integrations. It is part of the Terms of service.
The rules exist for two reasons: to keep the service working for everybody on it, and to keep our customers out of trouble they did not see coming.
Do not use the service to
- Break the law, or help someone else break it.
- Upload, store or send content that infringes someone else's intellectual property, is defamatory, obscene, or is unlawful to hold.
- Upload personal data your business has no lawful basis to process, or that you were not permitted to collect for this purpose. This is the one most businesses get wrong: a contact list bought from a third party is not a lawful basis.
- Send unsolicited marketing by email, SMS or WhatsApp. Messaging through the service must respect the recipient's consent, the messaging provider's own rules, and Indian telecom regulation on commercial communication. For the channels gobazo ships, that means the Telecom Commercial Communications Customer Preference Regulations, 2018 (TCCCPR) issued by TRAI for SMS and voice, and — for WhatsApp — the WhatsApp Business Messaging Policy and Meta's Business Terms. You are responsible for having the recipient's consent before messaging them through any of these channels.
- Impersonate anyone, or misrepresent which business a message comes from.
- Upload malware, or anything designed to damage or gain unauthorised access to a system.
- Probe, scan or penetration-test the service without our prior written agreement. We welcome security research — ask us first, at hello@consenko.com, and we will tell you the rules.
- Attempt to reach another customer's workspace or data, or to defeat the separation between workspaces.
- Scrape the service, or automate access in a way that degrades it for others; use the API within its published limits.
- Resell, sublicense or white-label the service without a written agreement to do so.
- Reverse-engineer the service, except to the extent the law expressly permits despite a contract term.
Using the AI features responsibly
Parts of the service draft text and produce suggestions using AI. Two rules follow:
- Do not paste personal or confidential data into an AI feature unless your business has the right to process it for that purpose.
- Do not use the output to make a decision that significantly affects an individual — employment, credit, or refusing service — without a human reviewing it. Generated text is a draft, not a judgement.
Everything the AI produces is your business's responsibility once it is sent.
Keeping your own workspace in order
- Give each person their own account. Shared logins destroy the audit trail that protects your business in a dispute.
- Remove access when someone leaves, on the day they leave.
- Give people the narrowest access that lets them do the job.
- Keep API keys and integration credentials secret, and rotate them if they may have leaked.
How we enforce this
Where we can, we will tell you about a problem and give you a chance to fix it. Where the harm is immediate — an attack on the service, an account sending spam, illegal content, or a risk to other customers — we may suspend the account or the workspace first and explain afterwards. Serious or repeated breaches can end the subscription under the Terms of service.
We do not routinely inspect your business's data. We look only when we have to: to investigate a report, to deal with a security incident, or where the law requires it.
Reporting abuse
Something on the service that breaks these rules: hello@consenko.com. Anything involving personal data: mohit.dhawan@consenko.com — the Grievance redressal notice explains what happens next.
